#3: Daniel in the Lion's Den
I like the story of Daniel. He is one of my favorite characters in the Bible. Even though the government passed laws saying that it was illegal to pray, Daniel continued to do what God wanted him to do, even though it would get him into trouble. God saved Daniel by shutting the lion's mouths. When Daniel got out of the lion's den the next day, the king threw the people who had plotted Daniel's death into lion's den, and the lions, who were indeed hungry, ate the people before they even hit the ground.
